Motorized Boat Launch and Public Moorage Facilities in Washington State

What do Washington state boaters want? Visit our Boater Survey Page and read the results of a contractor's survey of Washington boaters – kayakers to cruisers – about their priorities for state investments.

Welcome to the Recreation and Conservation Funding Board's boating facilities information page. We collected the boat launch information in a 1998 field survey of all publicly accessible motorboat launches in Washington State. Related information on public moorage facilities, including marinas and destination sites such as State Marine Parks, was gathered in a mail survey completed in 2000.

If you are aware of changes needed in the information contained on this site please click the "Feedback" link at the top of the page. Use caution when using this information. At the time of compilation, we made every effort to ensure accuracy, but conditions can change rapidly: sites and facilities may close, suffer damage, and management may change. For this reason we assume no liability for this information and cannot guarantee its accuracy. We don't recommend using the maps as navigational charts. This mapping project was funded in part by a portion of the state motor vehicle fuel tax paid to purchase fuel used in watercraft, and by a grant from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service through the Boating Infrastructure Grant program.
