We collected the boat launch information in a 1998 field
survey of all publicly accessible motorboat launches in Washington
State. Related information on public moorage facilities, including
marinas and destination sites such as State Marine Parks,
was gathered in a mail survey completed in 2000.
If you are aware of changes needed in the information contained on this site please click the "Feedback" link at the top of the map page. Use caution when using this information. At the time of compilation, we made every effort to ensure accuracy, but conditions can change rapidly: sites and facilities may close, suffer damage, and management may change. For this reason we assume no liability for this information and cannot guarantee its accuracy. We don't recommend using the maps as navigational charts. This mapping project was funded in part by a portion of the state motor vehicle fuel tax paid to purchase fuel used in watercraft, and by a grant from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service through the Boating Infrastructure Grant program. The source of this data is our project management system, PRISM, used by the Recreation and Conservation Office (RCO) to track grant projects from application through closure. GIS coordinates are supplied by project applicants/sponsors and RCO staff. Please let us know if you are aware of changes by clicking the "Feedback" link at the top of the map page.
