Athletic Facilities Grants
There are several grant programs targeted at building and renovating outdoor athletic facilities and ball fields. These grants provide funding to:- Buy land
- Develop new facilities
- Renovate existing facilities
- Building a regional athletic complex
- Renovating a dirt field by adding turf and lighting

| Distinguishing Characteristic: Program is for neighborhood, community, and regional parks with a primary focus on upland recreation and outdoor swimming pools. At least 50 percent of funding must be for acquisition projects. A comprehensive plan is required. | ||||
